Park Facilities

Kyabram Fauna Park is home to more than 600 native Australian animals including koalas, dingoes, kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, echidna, emus, flying-foxes and quolls.  Kangaroos, emus and wallabies are free-ranging.

Our reptile house includes native snakes, crocodile, lizards and turtles.

We have a wide range of birdlife including cockatoos, parrots, waterfowl, cranes, bush stone-curlew. brolga and finches.  Thirty-five species of birds have been identified at the Park.  Bird lovers can enjoy a large walk-through aviary, wetland viewing hides and wetland observation tower.

The Nestlé Invertebrate Exhibition includes spiders, scorpions and stick insects.

The Park encompasses 55 hectares of open woodland, wetlands and lakes.

  • Hazelman’s Cottage - a restored 1800’s settler’s cottage, blacksmith’s shop and machine shed.

  • Free BBQs
  • Picnic shelter
  • Disabled swing
  • RV dump unit (9.30am – 5.30pm)


Conference Facilities:

Kyabram Fauna Park offers a unique meeting or conference venue in our Environmental Resource Centre. 

Theatre: theatre style seating for up to 100 people or table seating for up to 50 people.
Classroom or Boardroom: theatre style seating for up to 25 people or table seating for up to 20 people.

Kitchen facilities are available for self-catering.

A range of catering options are also available.

Equipment for hire includes data projector, microphones and white boards.
